i’m used to the occasional spam, hawking a larger penis, more explosive sex with women, cheap real estate, etc. but this one took it to a whole new level.

wow. i mean, not only did SpamAssassin “stop us host spam-sites”, but jesus christ - where the hell did this come from? Cocain, heroin, rockets, gay slaves, and child porn. This is a like a one-stop Wal-mart for evil.
This is a whole new level beyond Satan’s Playhouse.
will you be my friend?
Friday, Jul 18. 2003 – Category: Quotage
so jesse got me to sign onto friendster. so now it actually is kind of intriguing to see how far degrees of friendship will go.
so i added some of my friends, and got an email back from friendster with the subject: “Marc is now your friend!”
…. great. a computer program just confirmed that one of my childhood friends is indeed my friend. yay. validation - exactly what i needed.
another funny quote from a friend on why he/she couldn’t confirm me as a friend (sob sob): “so until i am convinced it is irrevocably necessary, i cannot add either of you as friends…shallow, yes? but hey it’s friendster, which is really all about being shallow…”
my career is going in circles!

Got a postcard in the mail yesterday from Sun Microsystems: Your career’s heading in the right direction. Thanks for sending us your resume and considering Sun as an employer. We will review your experience and if we have a position that matches your skills, we will contact you.
Hrm. Guess their system updates slowly….
