Tiananmen Square Massacre – Google Video
the music may be a little sensationalist – but it makes for a powerful video.
thanks to timf for finding this.
like tim, this totally brightened my day. i’m so going to work out like this from now on
sigh. another season wrapped.

i have to say… i quite liked David Tennant as the doctor. i still think i preferred Christopher Eccleston, but the 10th doctor is not bad at all.
this season was great… cybermen, daleks, and the last two episodes with the “death” of Rose was pretty moving.
… and now begins another 5 and a half month wait for the Christmas special. sigh.
wow, serenity rocked. it was everything i’d hoped it would be.

Saturday, Sep 10. 2005 – Category: Movies&TV
i watch a lot of tv. in fact, a lot of my friends and i watch the same shows. so, while wendy is in bed trying to make up for the one hour of sleep she got in her last night of trauma call, i scoured TV websites looking for premier dates.

Garden State
Thursday, Jul 28. 2005 – Category: Movies&TV
I finally got around to watching Garden State. Wow, I’d totally
gotten this movie wrong. When I first saw the trailers for it, I figured it
was some kind of irreverent comedy. And for the first few minutes, when
I realised it was Zach Braff (the Scrubs guy), I thought that was my
confirmation. I was way-off. It was definitely a comedy, but it was
surprisingly serious. The way he wanted to feel emotional turmoil was
really actually quite poignant. It’s strange to realise how a calm
emotion-less face can convey such strong emotion. And the music soundtrack
was great… I’ve already ordered the CD. Then I get to the end, and
realise not only did he star in it – he was the writer and director. Wow.
And that concludes my year old movie review of the day
who? when? christmas?!?!?
Tuesday, Jun 21. 2005 – Category: Movies&TV
for the past few months, my weekend ritual has always been to uh…get… Doctor Who on Sunday afternoon so I can watch it on my Monday or Tuesday morning BART ride down. this morning I watched the season finale, and the last appearance of Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor.
i admit, it was pretty moving and sad. the geek in me really liked Eccleston. He was gawky, nerdy, and always cobbling together some hack to get them out of their situations. i dunno about this new Doctor… i mean…he’s actually somewhat good looking. anyway…. i actually hear David Tennant is quite a good actor, so i’m crossing my fingers.
the thing that kills me is having to wait until Christmas for the next season to start. sigh. SIX months. now i’ll have to get back to doing real work on my laptop while i ride down. darnit.
tivo whore
Monday, Apr 25. 2005 – Category: Movies&TV
chris eccleston is an awesome dr. who.
the new dr. who is brilliant. i’m not so sure about billie piper, but i’ll give her a few more episodes before i pass judgement.
today’s BART commute was probably the best ever thanks to dr. who.
oh, and i’ve had two three people take me up on the TiVo offer, so i’m down to 2 1 more if anybody is interested.
