i love sinfest

i’ve said it numerous times, but i love sinfest. if only tatsuya didn’t take so many sabbaticals
anyway, i’m catching up on the last couple of weeks i missed, and the strip from april 30th is probably a classic example of why i love sinfest, and why he will never see mainstream publication.
Man menaces cops with didgeridoo | The Register A man was today sentenced to 180 hours’ community service for threatening police with a didgeridoo after shouting: “Come on then. I’ll have you,” in the traditional British style.
rofl. i love it. it’s just… so English (wrt to the “Come on then. I’ll have you” threat). and come on, you gotta love a guy who attacks another guy with a didgeridoo. i mean, that’s just awesome.
Upon leaving the court today, Jones said: “I had only just started to learn to play the didgeridoo too.”
this reminds me of my parents’ tenant (who lived in a townhouse we own and rented out in Cupertino) who used to be an Apple engineer, but went a little nuts after losing his job. we got a call one day from a neighbour who said there were 3 cop cars outside our townhouse, and that the tenant was threatening police with a weapon. turns out he was pointing his flute out the kitchen window.
i’m in love with pandora

MS gives Republicans $1m, Republicans use Solaris anyway
well. the title pretty much says it all.
(from El Reg)
thanks to steve, i will have a lasting memory of our time spent sitting on the side of the 580/80 split.
my new tires are great. very grippy… road noise is definitely present, but tolerable. we’ll see how they hold up over the winter.
more than meets the eye

you have GOT to go watch the new Citroen C4 commercial
it’s awesome. it doesn’t get any better than dancing robots smacking their asses.
a guy dressed up in all black and rocked out to Jet in an Apple store.
how awesome is that…
it’s absolutely delicious

i’ve started using del.icio.us as a bookmark manager. between using firefox on my laptop, on my desktop at home, on my desktop at work, and on wendy’s computer - it’s always a pain not having the same bookmarks on all of them. i now have all my bookmarks online, and firefox synchronises them everytime i use it.
the other neat thing? breaking them down into tags. very very cool. i can have the same bookmark in different tags (i.e.: engadget is both a blog, and a geek site, amazing i know).
it took me about 30 minutes to get used to having all my bookmarks on there, but i love it.
web comics
Tuesday, Mar 15. 2005 – Category: Linkage
web comics are a small vice of mine. i love reading ‘em. linked here are two of my favourites.
the first up is Red Meat. this particular one is from last week. it’s slightly revolting, but for some reason it triggers the funny response in me.

the second up is SinFest. this is one of my new favourites… clearly drawn with a Japanese style. love the writing.
