whacked gets fatty

Sunday, Nov 16. 2008  –  Category: Grommit

I just installed a new WordPress theme (Miniml). It’s considerably fatter (as in ‘wider’) than my previous theme… so hopefully all y’all who complained about the previous one being too skinny will stop hassling me now.

It also integrates my photo gallery and Twitter stream below. This is a half-assed attempt to keep my blog looking active even when I’m lazy and not blogging.

    …too fat

    uksup4% /usr/bin/firefox Assertion failed: CAIROFORMATVALID (image_surface->format), file cairo-image-surface.c, line 550 Abort – core dumped

    Firefox is 3.03 on

    % uname -a SunOS uksup4 5.11 snv101 i86pc i386 i86pc (this is the full snv101 distribution, not OpenSolaris).

    This happens when I browse http://whacked.net/ (obviously the link to this page works – I am doing the submit using the same browser…). Works fine when I brows the same from a vista box with the same Firefox version; also with Opera 9.62 under Solaris.

    Chavdar,

    Same on OpenSolaris 2008.11rc1 (b101a)

    weird. Could be the images on the homepage from my photo gallery, though they’re just standard <img> tags, nothing special.
