Hey, it looks like a step in the right direction for San Jose..

http://www.mercurynews.com/news/ci6018435?nclickcheck=1

With respect to Toronto FC, it looks like while our success on the field has been mixed, we have been doing well filling the stands with passionate fans.. Here's hoping it continues for many years to come.

Subway is only 2 year away plus fast growing York Region is just a few minutes away. One thing i'm not sure about (maybe you can fill me in on this) is population density around new stadium downtown. York has around 50000 students plus York Region is booming.

It's pretentious because it's ostentatious in the same way that we will now have every barney in Southern California talking about "Becks is a master off the set piece while on the pitch sporting his EPL kit....."

It's Major League "Soccer". The only thing that makes it somewhat reasonable is Football in French, but I still think we need to stop acting like the unwanted little brother of World Soccer.

While I'm not crazy about MLSE either, I've gotta disagree with you regarding the location mpok. York U is very difficult to get to via the TTC, and the subway line is still many years away. Also, there is a GO train stop right beside BMO field.

I went down to NYC a few years ago to see Juventus play ManU. They were playing at Giants stadium, and without a car it was very trying to get there. We ended up having to get a taxi, which was quite pricey.

I know mls is here now, but i thought they were planning to stay away from Canada. And two things i don't like about out team is MLSE and downtown stadium (YorkU would be a way better long term solution)
