looks like Phil Neville has joined the Toffees… sigh. I actually quite liked Phil.. certainly more than I like Gary. At least P.Neville was more versatile. He’s a good solid player, definitely someone I’d like to have as a utility sub on the bench - but at least now he’ll get some good solid first team football.

Please, can we just sign Michael Ballack already? Forget Essien. The kid wants Chelsea. Let him go to Chelsea. Get Ballack.

I say dump Saha, Kleberson, and Bellion. Sign Ballack, and for god’s sakes…just go get Owen already. He wants to come back to England - nobody else seems to want him except Newcastle (and who are we kidding… think Owen would choose Newcastle over ManU???), and I hear he’s available for the cheap low price of 10 mil.

Convert Alan Smith to midfield, and you’ve got a great attacking midfielder in the mould of Scholesy - except rumour has it Alan Smith can actually tackle someone properly. :-P That leaves your strike force as Rooney, Van Nistelrooy, Owen, and OLE!

Ole ole…. ole ole…

sorry. can’t help it. I love the guy. Hands down one of the classiest footballers around.

Could you imagine that team:

Goalie: Van der Sar

Backline: Heinze, Ferdinand, Silvestre, Neville

Mid: Keane, Smith, Giggs, Ronaldo, Scholes, Ballack, Park

Up front: Rooney, Ruud, Owen, Ole, Rossi

toss in Kieran Richardson as a super-sub, and you’ve got a pretty competitive team.
