i’d always kind of wondered what Isis did all day when i left her at home by herself on my days when i come into the office without her.
i know she usually likes to jump up on either the sofa or the guest bedroom… and i guessed she probably goes for the sofa during the day since the living room gets more sunlight; so i setup my webcam on my Qube, and pointed it at the sofa.
turns out, she doesn’t do much. 
the webcam takes photos every 10 minutes…and she either manages to jump off and save the world in 9 minute intervals before coming back to lie down on the sofa in the exact same spot….. or she sleeps…in the same spot…. for 9+ hours.
to her credit, she does get up about every hour or so to turn 180 degrees.
update: the last 3 don’t show her because that was when i came home and she went spastic crazy and excited

What does she do when she comes into the office with you?
If she doesn’t sleep all day there, perhaps she is resting up for later?

Now you should experiment placing network attached noise makers around the house and see if you can get Isis to investigate all day rather than sleep.
Either that or show her the incriminating evidence that she’s been on the couch all the time.

I showed her the evidence… the damning photos that she’s a lazy dog. She responded by licking my face and asking for a treat. Somehow, I don’t think she cares…
As for when she comes to my office…she basically sleeps.
She gets up and follows me to the coffee station/meetings etc. but otherwise just hangs around and waits for me to take her to lunch.What a life…

Wonderful. I suspect my 4-leggers are just as active when I’m away.
