read the review of this sweeeeet Sony Vaio U70P Wi-Fi micro PC over at The Register.
i want one. so droooolworthy
had our first EBWL game last night… what fun! jesse and i are both on team 9, seems like a fun group of people. the only things we’re missing are a captain and a team name. we’ve decided to just rotate the captaincy every week… as well as the team name.
my favourite name is “Stall 9″. that way we can just yell it as loud as we can from the sidelines and screw up the opposing team.
SBC CPNI removal
Thursday, Dec 2. 2004 – Category: Musings
got a little thing enclosed with my SBC phone bill today saying my information would be shared with all other SBC businesses in order to “offer [me] additional products and services”.
eh. i’ve got enough “offers” to insulate my new basement i’m in the process of building…. i don’t need more.
anyway, in case you didn’t notice it in your bill, and you’re an SBC customer of Cali. or Nevada, then go to their opt out site and make sure you tell them to remove you.
one of the uniquely Sun benefits we enjoy as Sun employees is a flexible workplace. we can work anywhere and everywhere there is a Sun office, campus, drop-in centre, or from home.
i’ve worked from tons of Sun campuses and drop-in centres throughout California - but tonight….. tonight was the first time i found myself utilising the convenience of a nearby Sun office for, well… puking.
[squeamish readers can turn away now]
wendy and i had grabbed boba and popcorn chicken from Verde in Mountain View - a snack we’ve had tons of times before. anyway, i think the chicken fscked me up. we headed over to Milpitas for dinner, where i felt strange, but nothing too bad. but right when we left Milpitas (heading home up 880 towards Oakland), i suddenly started feeling like someone was wringing my stomach. right around Fremont (at the Dixon Landing Rd. exit) i started feeling like i was going to puke my brains out. conveniently, we were close by the Sun Newark campus, so i floored it over there, parked in the handicapped spots in front of NWK16, ran in, and proceeded to wretch up the popcorn chicken and the rest of my dinner.
why am i blogging this? who knows. but to the people that gave me badge access to Newark when i joined Sun: i thank you.
