got my new rims and tires!! went up to the anaheim area to Supreme Power Parts to pick up my new
17×7 Ace Lolas shod with 225/45 Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 rubber. you can see the photos of how they look here.
it’s so nice to have some new tires…the grip is amazing. quite a difference
from going from bald Pirelli’s
NERVOUS BREAKDOWN too!! Ha ha.

these meds are making me reeeeally tired. i feel somewhat
better, but my voice still sounds like the voice of someone who’s been smoking for
80+ years. ugh. yesterday i drank 14 glasses of water at work….so i guess the
side effect of ‘dehydration’ is kicking in. i’ve gone through two nalgene’s today
and a jamba juice.
Kristensen & Capello are coming back to race for Bentley in ALMS next year - this’ll be the first time Bentley has set foot on American soil in over 50 years I believe. I’m psyched to see their beautiful beautiful LMGTP car… I’m definitely going out to Laguna Seca to watch the ALMS race this year to see the Bentley Speed 8.
Anyone else following the Dakar rally? I can’t believe the two VW Tareks are hanging in there. Mitsubishi and Nissan were always a shoe-in, but I’m surprised to see the BMW X5 holding its own in there too.
Was my SOY LOAF left out in th’RAIN? It tastes REAL GOOD!!

well, it’s definite. i’ve been diagnosed with pneumonia courtesy of UCSD Healthcare. i’m on some medication which is making me feel hella loopy. i feel like i’m 10 feet tall and that my body is stretching like a rubber band. it’s really weird.
on a side note, i ran into the following compiler errour today:
QCC -O2 -g -Vgccntox86 -Ygpp -I ..//baseclass -I ..//export -c CmdLine.cc -o
CmdLine.o
CmdLine.cc: In method `class string
CIpcModule::CmdLine(basicstring<char,stringchartraits<
char>,_defaultalloctemplate
CmdLine.cc:883: virtual memory exhausted
Now I am depressed …

wow. my first entry of the new year. well, oakenfold was awesome. after oakenfold, i went up to the bay area for the holidays. it was good to see all my friends & family again. however, i seem to have caught a nasty cold/flu (possibly pneumonia, as my parents were both diagnosed with it) that’s been lingering around since Christmas eve.
we went to planet new year w/ paul van dyk which was an awesome show. the first time i’ve ever partied sober – and it wasn’t so bad. i was feeling not that great due to my cold, and couldn’t drink anything or roll.
dan, jesse, tung, andrea, and i went to joshua tree this weekend to go climbing. we spent all day saturday on ‘walk on the wild side’ (5.7) due to too many stupid little mistakes. we should have split up into 2 smaller groups. 5 is too hard to manage. i actually dropped a carabiner. ugh. i also started to lead the first pitch of ‘negro girls’ (5.9 R) and i forgot to tie in. my mind was really foggy this weekend….probably a good reason why you shouldn’t climb when sick. on sunday we climbed ‘stichter quits’ (5.7) which seemed totally sandbagged to me. we also did a fun 5.6 route called ‘double dip’.
